Admission to the 1st year of the following courses are made directly by the college. Applications to these courses will be received by the college on all working days up to the date announced by the University of Delhi. Apart from these admissions

Admission to the B.A(Honours)Music/M.Sc/M.Com/M.A classes are made through the Faculty of Arts / Science/Commerce, University of Delhi. Students seeking admission to M.A./M.Sc./M.Com. are first required to register themselves with the respective Faculty.

The College will receive the applications only from students who have registered themselves with the concerned Faculty. Further information may be obtained from the University Department concerned.

Application for admission should be made on the prescribed form. A student who wishes to be considered for more than one course should submit SEPARATE application* for each course.

1. The first admission list will be put up on the college notice board on the date announced by the University of Delhi.


2. Candidates whose names appear in the list or who qualify according to the criteria stated therein and have also applied for admission will report to Departmental Admission Incharge in the room alloted to him/her between 10 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. along with the original and one photocopy /attested copy of the following documents :-

(i) Certificate of Date of Birth( Issued by the Board.) (10th passing certificate.)
(ii) Detailed Marks-Sheet (Sr. Secondary/Equivalent Exam.).


Candidates seeking admission from a board other than C.B.S.E. or I.S.C., must get the result authenticated from the Resident Comissioner of the State where the Board is situated.All Students who are covered under the above Clause must comply within the time limit for admission.

(iii) Two self attested copies of passport size photographs, (for admission form).
(iv) Caste Certificate (if the candidate belongs to SC/ST category).
(vi) An application addressed to the Vice-Chancellor, University of Delhi regarding relaxation in age ( if the age of the candidate is less than 17Yrs. for Under-Graduate Course and 20Yrs. for Post-Graduate Course as on First October of the year in which admission is sought.

3. After obtaining the recommendation of Departmental Admission Incharge, the candidate will report to the Central Admission Committee Incharge and, if admitted, will be required to deposit the fee within the time specified.


4. Candidates will not be refused admission because of gap year.


Eligibility
The eligibility requirements for the admission to various Under-Graduate Courses, laid down by the University of Delhi, are as follows:

(i) Admission to B.A.(Prog.)/B.Sc.(Physical Sciences/Applied Physical Sciences) ) Minimum percentage of marks required for admission to B.A.(Prog.)/B.Sc.(Physical Sciences/Applied Physical Sciences) course is 40% in the aggregate in any of the examinations recognised by the University of Delhi.

(ii) Admission to B.A.(Hons.)/B.Com.(Hons.) Minimum percentage of marks for admission to B.A.(Hons.)/B/Com.(Hons.) course is 45% in the aggregate in any of the examinations recognised by the University of Delhi.

(iii)Admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) Courses In addition to the examination recognised by the University of Delhi as given in the list above, Intermediate/Pre-Medical examination or Pre-University examination (2 years' course after tenth class) is also recognised for admission to B.Sc.(Hons.) Courses.


Minimum percentage required for admission is :

(A) 50% marks in the aggregate of five subjects including Physics,Chemistry, and also


(i) Biology for admission to Botany/Zoology Honours and
(ii) Mathematics (Higher) for admission to Physics/Chemistry honours.


(B) At least 45% marks in the aggregate for five subjects including Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry for B.Sc.(Hons.) Course in Mathematicts.

(C) For B.A (Honours) in English,Student should have atleast 75% in English.
(I) 77% marks in Commerce Stream.
OR
(II) 80% marks in Science Stream.
OR
(III) 77% marks in Humanity Stream.

IN 10+2 OR Equivelent Board Exams.
